Cricket is an international sport which constitutes the epicenter of activities swayed by the International Cricket Council (ICC). The ICC came into existence in 1909 through the collaboration of representatives from Australia, England, and South Africa. Since then many have represented themselves from numerous countries in the ICC.
Some Pakistani ICC members have represented the International Cricket Council, and a few are still represented in various capacities and committees. Pakistan’s Members of ICC

1. Mohsin Naqvi – Full Member Director

early exit from the ICC Men’s T20I Cup 2024, following defeats against the USA and India and later against Bangladesh in the series, Mohsin Naqvi was forced to resign. In April 2025, Naqvi became the Asian Cricket Council President and also represents Pakistan in ICC Committees on the Membership Committee.
2. Sumair Ahmad Syed – ICC Chief Executives’ Committee

Another Pakistani member on the ICC board is Sumair Ahmad Syed. Sumair Ahmad Syed represents Pakistan on the ICC Chief Executives’ Committee. This committee, in fact, assists the ICC board in operational and financial matters and in the development of cricket worldwide.
3. Justice (R) Syed Haider Asghar – ICC Code of Conduct Commission

Justice (R) Syed Haider Asghar is yet another Pakistani on ICC committees. Syed Haider Asghar represents Pakistan on the ICC Code of Conduct Commission. In this Committee, the members have to oversee matters related to the integrity of cricket and the public image thereof. The Commission is primarily concerned with matters like betting, match-fixing.
4. Wasim Khan MBE – ICC Men’s Cricket Committee

Wasim Khan MBE, a former PCB general manager, now represents Pakistan in the ICC committees, being the General Manager of the ICC Men’s Cricket Committee. Wasim Khan was appointed to this position in April 2022. As General Manager- Cricket of ICC Men’s Cricket Committee, Wasim Khan reviews the playing conditions and regulations, and is also responsible for strategizing the growth of the game. He is second-in-command after the ICC Chairman.
5. Sana Mir – ICC Women’s Cricket Committee

It is said that, in the annals of cricketing history, there have been many great cricketers, some among which are recognized as being the most beautiful women cricketers. She is the sole representation of Pakistan in the ICC Committee at present. As the Elected Players’ Representative in the ICC Women’s Cricket Committee, Sana stands for the interests of all the players of Pakistan. It is through Sana that the players’ interests in key issues affecting such players as playing conditions have become the voice for the promotion of the Women’s game. Besides that, she has also managed to play more than 200 matches for the Pakistan team across formats at the international level, while also taking over 200 wickets for his side.
